This Privacy Policy explains how Tapli app collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use the application.
1. Information We Collect
- Account data: name, phone number, login credentials, and profile image.
- Guest account data: full name, phone number, ISO country code, email (optional), address (optional), profile image (optional), and guest identifier.
- Guest device data: device_id, platform_type, and app_version.
- Authentication/session data: access tokens, refresh tokens, OTP verification metadata, and security logs.
- Notification data: push token (for example FCM token) tied to your device/session.
- Shop and listing data: content, images/videos, metadata, and category choices.
- Subscription and purchase data: selected plan, store product ID, transaction status, renewal/expiration dates, platform billing identifiers, and limited payment confirmation metadata.
- Location data (with your permission): we may access your location to help set or select the shop address/location.
- Instagram Business account data (with your permission): instagram_id, instagram_username, account type, token/expiry, media and related metadata to simplify importing already published posts and videos into Tapli.
- Technical data: app logs, crash diagnostics, performance data, request metadata (such as IP and user-agent), and abuse-prevention signals.
2. How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and authentication flows.
- To identify and secure guest sessions by linking activity to your device_id and related app/device context.
- To display shops and posts and provide platform functionality.
- To support video features in the app, including uploading, processing, and displaying video content in posts.
- To process, verify, renew, cancel, restore, and support subscriptions through Apple, Google Play, or supported payment providers.
- To enable location-based shop setup by allowing you to attach an address/location to your shop profile.
- To simplify Instagram import workflows for eligible users by importing existing Instagram Business media into our service.
- To deliver notifications, account recovery, purchase and renewal updates, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
- To improve security, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.
3. Third-Party Integrations
We may use third-party services for social login, messaging, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, payments, hosting, or storage. These services process data under their own privacy terms.
Instagram integration is implemented using the official Instagram APIs and platform requirements. Mobile subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play where required by platform rules.
4. Platform Disclosure and Store Compliance
We maintain privacy disclosures intended to align with applicable platform requirements, including Meta Platform Policies, Apple App Store Review Guidelines (privacy and data use), and Google Play User Data and Data Safety requirements.
We disclose collected data categories, purposes, and retention in this policy and in relevant app store data disclosure forms.
5. Data Retention
We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data where applicable.
- You may request account deletion in the app where available or through the public Tapli Account Deletion page. If an active shop exists, you may need to delete or resolve the shop first so related obligations can be completed.
8. Policy Updates
We may update this policy. Updates are effective once published on the policy page.
